1991 Art & Handcraft
Studies

In addition to my formal music education, I pursued studies in art and handcrafts, focusing on the intersection of creativity, design, and practical application. These studies provided me with a solid foundation in visual arts, emphasizing craftsmanship, aesthetic principles, and material exploration. The program integrated theoretical aspects of design with hands-on experience, fostering a deep understanding of artistic techniques and their practical applications.

Through courses in drawing, painting, and sculpture, as well as handcrafts such as woodworking and ceramics, I developed a keen eye for detail and an appreciation for the creative process. This education not only honed my artistic skills but also cultivated a versatile and interdisciplinary approach to teaching and creative projects, allowing me to integrate artistic and musical elements in innovative ways. These studies have greatly enriched my ability to inspire creativity and holistic development in students.

1991 Bachelor  of the Arts in Music Degree

The Bachelor of Arts in Music program at the Mozarteum Salzburg offered a comprehensive and rigorous education over eight semesters, equipping students with the skills and knowledge for professional careers in music. The degree emphasized both theoretical and practical components, culminating in a public recital of approximately 45 minutes, showcasing works from solo and chamber music repertoire spanning various eras.

The program integrated foundational studies in music theory, history, and pedagogy with advanced training in performance. A key feature of the curriculum was the central artistic module, which required students to prepare and present their final examination recital before a panel of experts. The recital not only demonstrated technical mastery and interpretive depth but also served as a testament to the student's artistic growth throughout the program.

Additionally, students were required to complete a Bachelor’s thesis, allowing them to delve deeper into a specific aspect of musicology or performance. This program laid a solid foundation for my future endeavors, blending rigorous academic study with intensive practical application, and prepared me for a multifaceted career in performance and education.
